Rebecca has been in education for over 20 years and served in ministry for nearly three decades. She is passionate about many things, but she especially enjoys speaking on scripture and leadership, encouraging those embarking on a new phase of life, teaching others to think differently about their current challenges, and facilitating individuals and teams in the creation of strategic plans for obtaining their goals.
Rebecca has spent most of her time in the classroom teaching high school history, government and psychology. She regularly evaluates educational practices as part of the accreditation process for schools and has guided teams of diverse individuals in the development of new and integrated curriculum. And recently wrapped a stint as an adjunct professor. She is passionate about teaching students life skills and encouraging them to discover the purpose for which they were uniquely created.
Rebecca and her husband Ted met at church while performing in their college group’s Christmas performance. Together, they were part of the team that launched that college ministry as a full-fledged church plant. Over the last 20 years Rebecca has continued her service there in roles ranging from Board President to directing the kid’s Christmas play to part time Director of Operations. In other words, she’s been a bit of a utility player bringing order out of the chaos of ministry.
Rebecca, Ted, their daughters, two dogs and a ball python live in Southern California. She enjoys coffee, all things Disney and would rather be planning a vacation or speaking on stage than almost anything else.
